Weekly Update: September 3, 2010
Upgrade News
We will be performing an equipment upgrade this weekend. Please note that Evergreen Indiana (including the OPAC) will not be accessible beginning 7:00 PM this Saturday (9/4). It’s anticipated that the system should be live again by Tuesday (9/7) at 8:00 AM, but we will send notice when you can go back to live. If your library is open this Sunday or Monday, you’ll need to operate offline.
Reports that are scheduled to run during the time the system is down will automatically run when the system is restored.
Barcode Order
We are organizing another barcode order to be placed on September 20. The barcodes range from $12 to $15 per thousand. There is also a $35 lot charge and shipping charges. Email Wendy Knapp, wknapp@library.in.gov, with the following information if you wish to participate in this order:
- name of library;
- name, email and phone number of contact person at the library for proof;
- starting bar code number;
- number to be ordered;
- a copy of 10 current barcodes via mail or scan.
Your library will be billed when the barcodes are shipped.
