We have received the shipping boxes and labels for the DVD transit program! We’re getting things sorted out and working on how best to get the boxes to everyone (they’re a bit awkward to ship in bulk as flat pack via INfoExpress). Weekly Update — February 7, 2017

Maintenance and Configuration Updates

A weekly purge of unused monographic parts has been implemented.

Materials which have been assigned the Discard/Weed status are being automatically deleted 6 months after being set to that status. Libraries are encouraged to actively delete weeded holdings, but this cleanup tool will catch those which are missed.

The default sort order has been set to Popularity Adjusted Relevance. The popularity metric has been updated to evaluate the number of copies associated with a record, the total number of holds over 5 years, publication date, frequency of circulation, total circulation, and current hold counts. We’re excited to see how well this assists patrons with finding their desired materials!
