Weekly Update—July 29, 2014
Shauna Bids Us Farewell
Dear Evergreen Indiana Colleagues,
I wanted to personally notify my Evergreen colleagues that I have accepted a new position at an academic library in Kenosha, Wisconsin which will allow me to be closer to my family. My last day at the Indiana State Library will be Friday, August 8. I have learned so much from working with the Evergreen Indiana project over the past three years, first as EI Coordinator, then as NE Regional Coordinator and finally as the Professional Development Office Supervisor, and have enjoyed getting to know each of you through site visits, committee meetings, annual conferences and trainings. While leaving a project and colleagues in which I have so much invested is bittersweet, I am extremely proud of the current EI team, committees and trainers. I have every confidence that this consortium will continue to grow and develop to serve the library patrons of Indiana in innovative ways.

Regional Roundtables!
We have begun scheduling regional Evergreen Indiana Discussion Roundtables around Indiana this fall. We’re bringing the EI support team, ISL representatives, and Executive Committee representatives to your area! We invite you to join us to share experiences, ask questions, meet counterparts at other nearby libraries, and make requests for policy updates and development. Staff members of all levels and involvement are welcome. We hope you’ll join us for at least one roundtable and celebrate the Evergreen Indiana community!

Committee News
The eContent Committee meeting on August 12, 2014 has been cancelled. The committee will meet again on October 14, 2014 at 10am at the Indiana State Library.
Job News
The Indiana State Library is seeking a Northeast Regional Coordinator to serve as an ambassador to library staff from all types of libraries in Indiana. Regional coordinators offer training workshops, connect local libraries with resources available from the State Library, and provide information, marketing, consulting, continuing education opportunities and more to libraries within their geographical area of the state. The job posting is available on Careers.IN.gov (Listing #591072; Title: Librarian I / Regional Coordinator). This posting will close on August 6, 2014.
Migration News
We have set a tentative migration weekend for the North Madison County Public Library System of September 26-30, 2014. A modified cataloging freeze is anticipated during that weekend. Further information will be forthcoming as available.
