Autocomplete Deactivation
After reviewing the autocomplete search module component in the OPAC for performance and accessibility, we will be deactivating it beginning today. At this time the module causes errors for users requiring ADA assistance readers and plugins and greatly reduces the return speed of some searches. If you receive feedback from your users or staff regarding this change that you feel should be taken into consideration as we move forward, please do share it with us!
Attention Catalogers: Last Call!
The Cataloging Roundtable will be held this Thursday from 10am-Noon. Please sign up for the webinar using the link below. Our guest speaker, Stephen Smith of the University of Illinois Chicago, will present on RDA for EI Copy Catalogers. This course will include a review of RDA basics and what copy catalogers should consider when converting or using RDA records.

We’ve received a request to bring back the roundtable for EI Bookmobile staff. Say What?
The opening group of libraries participating in the Pronunicator group purchase will see service begin on Friday, July 18, 2014. The company has offered to extend open enrollment for other libraries who wish to join after further review. We have secured the 20% discount at this point. Please let Anna know if your library is interested.

Due to the large number of libraries closing to observe the Christmas Eve holiday, the 2.6 upgrade is being shifted up by one day. The servers will be unavailable beginning at 6pm EST on December 23rd, 2014. Please update your calendars.
Migration News
We have set a tentative migration weekend for the North Madison County Public Library System of September 26-30, 2014. A modified cataloging freeze is anticipated during that weekend. Further information will be forthcoming as available.
